NSBE Engineering Day 2026: Inspiring KISD’s Future Innovators
Students from the Killeen Independent School District (KISD) recently embarked on a transformative journey to Austin, Texas, for NSBE Engineering Day 2026. This immersive experience allowed our aspiring engineers to step inside the world-class facilities of industry giants IBM, Google, and Cadence, providing a front-row seat to the cutting-edge of global technology. From touring high-tech innovation labs to engaging in deep-dive discussions about semiconductor design and AI, students gained invaluable insight into the day-to-day lives of STEM professionals. By bridging the gap between the classroom and the corporate world, this visit didn't just teach our students what these companies do it allowed them to envision themselves as the future leaders who will one day run them.

The TACC Robotics Workshop successfully hosted 33 students, providing an engaging environment where participants explored the fundamentals of programming. Throughout the session, the children actively applied logic and problem-solving skills to navigate various coding challenges, fostering both technical proficiency and a genuine interest in STEM fields.

Service For A Cause at the 2026 HBCU College Fair
The Service For A Cause Foundation Inc. (SFAC) was proud to be a central part of the 2026 HBCU College Fair held at Harker Heights High School in Killeen, Texas. As hundreds of students and families explored pathways to higher education, our team hosted an interactive display and information table dedicated to bridging the gap between academic dreams and community resources. We shared vital information regarding our Project C.H.E.E.W. (Cultural activities, Health, Education, Entrepreneurial training, and Wellness) initiatives and discussed upcoming scholarship opportunities designed to support Central Texas and Fort Cavazos area youth. By engaging directly with the next generation of leaders, we reinforced our commitment to providing the tangible skills and educational support necessary to build strong minds and empowered communities.
